School Bond and Property Tax Increase?

     ALPINE — Faced with continuing state budget cuts for education, the Alpine Union School District is exploring the possibility of placing an $11 million general obligation bond measure on the ballot.
     The proposed measure would authorize additional projects without increasing taxes by extending a current Alpine schools bond assessment on property tax bills for another 25 years, district Superintendent Greg Ryan said in an interview.
